About Yousra Zerhouni

Yousra graduated from the Jewellery Arts Program at George Brown College, and she is an FGA-certified gemmologist through the Gemmology School of Montreal. This foundation has shaped her approach, balancing traditional craftsmanship with a keen eye for detail and deep respect for the materials she works with.

Behind the Work

As a jewellery artist, her work is a dialogue between the ancient and the contemporary, the organic and the refined. She creates both hand-fabricated and hand-carved wax pieces, allowing each creation to evolve with a sense of purpose and intimacy.

  • Moroccan Elements

Her Moroccan heritage plays a vital role in the creative expression. These cultural echoes help ground the pieces in a sense of identity and storytelling.

  • Nature's Elegance

Her inspiration is deeply rooted in nature’s quiet elegance, the art that surrounds and moves her, as well as the richness of culture and history.

  • Precision and Intention

Each piece she creates is a small story, shaped by the textures of the world, filtered through personal perspective, and brought to life with precision and intention.
